Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to the Quintessence website service for customers in the United Kingdom and are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

1. The service

Quintessence provides professional website design and development together with the website services described on the main website, including hosting, maintenance, SEO essentials, copywriting, enquiry forms, branding elements, domain setup and security measures.

2. Pricing

The initial website build is £499 as a one-time payment. The ongoing service is £99 per month starting the following month. The monthly service may be cancelled at any time, subject to these terms.

3. Website scope

The standard service includes up to 10 pages and two website update requests per month. Larger or additional work may require a separate agreement.

4. Timeline

Quintessence targets delivery in less than five days after receiving the information and materials reasonably required to build the website. Delays caused by missing information, customer feedback or third-party services may affect the timeline.

5. Money-back guarantee

Customers may request a refund within 28 days of the initial purchase, subject to the final service and refund conditions communicated at the time of purchase.

6. Results

Quintessence does not guarantee a particular number of leads, customers, sales, search rankings, revenue or other business results.

7. Customer responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring that information, images, trademarks and other materials supplied to Quintessence may lawfully be used.

8. Third-party services

Domains, hosting, payment processors and other third-party services may be subject to their own terms, fees and availability.

9. Cancellation and website availability

When the monthly service is cancelled, the website remains available through the period already paid for. Further hosting, maintenance and updates are not provided after the paid service period ends unless a new arrangement is made.

10. Intellectual property

Customer-owned materials remain the customer's responsibility. Website materials supplied or created by Quintessence are provided as part of the agreed service and may be subject to third-party licences or separate terms where applicable.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and disputes are subject to the applicable courts of England and Wales.
